We offer developmental Programs aimed at orienting, upgrading and assisting fresh Saudi graduates for a banking career at Samba such as:
Banking Training Program (BTP):
The banking training Program is designed primarily for Saudi Nationals holding either Diplomas or Bachelor Degrees and who are interested in a career in banking. This Program is a combination of an extensive classroom and on-the-job training, assisting candidates in banking operations related to financial transactions, upgrading the skill sets of tellers and customer services personnel in the Bank. The duration of the Program is six to eight months and upon successful completion of the Program the trainee is equipped with the basic principles of banking and is expected to acquire the appropriate skills required for a job in the banking industry.
Samba Professional Program (SPP):
Direct SPP hiring: This Program is designed especially for Saudi graduate and undergraduate students who intend to pursue a career in banking and is implemented in Riyadh. The duration of the SPP is 10-months, during which students through a combination of formal classroom courses and on-the-job training are trained in all major areas of banking. Upon completion of the on-the-job training, the trainee would have gained a sound understanding of Samba, its banking products and services and the trainee becomes ready to assume a responsible position in accordance with the Bank's need, personal skills, inclination and preferences.
The course provides:
- A formal and detailed 10-months training plan, extending to a longer management development Program culminating into a full time career.
- A schedule for achieving clear corporate and personal objectives.
- Personal attention to the training needs of each graduate at different stages of the Program; Senior Officers of the bank spend considerable time and efforts and are committed to train and mentor on a one-to-one basis.
- Organised rotations within Samba Financial Group.
Qualifications required for the SPP:
Degree: Bachelor of Arts / Science, Masters in Business Administration, Masters in Science, majoring in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering.
Samba Development Program (SDP):
As we continue to provide development opportunities to employees who have successfully excelled in their roles, qualified employees are further groomed by offering them the opportunity to enhance their skills through the in-house SDP Program prior to their being considered for promotion to the positions of Management Associates.
