Eisa Al Eisa Receives the "2011 Lifetime Achievement Award for Business Sectors in the Middle East"

Mr. Eisa Al Eisa, Chairman of Samba Financial Group, received the "Lifetime Achievement Award for Business Sectors in the Middle East 2011" from CEO Middle East Magazine, part of the ITP Publishing Group. This award is considered to be one of the most high profile awards granted by the magazine to leading figures in the industry, with Al Eisa having been selected in recognition of his distinguished professional career and visionary leadership at the helm of Samba Financial Group, which has been reflected in his unprecedented achievements, contributing significantly to the Group's development in assuming a high ranking in the banking industry on both a local and regional level.

This prestigious award, given to the most prominent business leaders, adds to a number of high-profile awards previously received by Al Eisa during his career in appreciation of his contribution to the banking industry. In 2010, Al Eisa received the "Lifetime Achievement Award for Business Sectors in Saudi Arabia" from CEO Middle East Magazine. In 2009, Al Eisa also received the Euromoney QFC "Lifetime Achievement Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Development of Financial Services in the Middle East". In the same year, he was named "Best CEO in Saudi Arabian Banking and Financial Institutions Sector" by CEO Middle East Magazine, "Best CEO in the Middle East" by emeafinance and "Preferred CEO of the Year" by HR Gathering and Award. Furthermore in 2007, Al Eisa received the "Banking CEO of the Year in the Middle East" from the Middle East Excellence Award Institute.

The latest award was handed over during a ceremony hosted by ITP Publishing Group on the evening of 6 September 2011, at the Armani Hotel in Dubai, attended by a number of business leaders from the Kingdom and wider region. The "Lifetime Achievement Award" recognizes Al Eisa's established track record of over 30 years' achievements and contribution to the enrichment of the banking sector. Al Eisa was able to come out on top of all the nominees for this prestigious award thanks to his visionary leadership, strategic thinking and extensive experience leading one of the fastest growing and most successful financial and banking institutions in the region.

On this occasion, Al-Eisa extended his deep thanks and appreciation to CEO Middle East magazine, ITP Publishing Group and its Arbitration Commission for selecting him for the award, something which he is extremely proud of, especially as it comes from such a highly specialized, reputable and professional body.
