Prince Sultan bin Salman honors Samba for being "Best National Corporation for Recruiting Saudis in 2011", for the fifth time

On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of Riyadh Region (may Allah protect him), His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, President of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) presented Mr. Eisa M. Al Eisa, Chairman of Samba Financial Group, with the award, "Best National Corporation in Recruiting Saudis in 2011". The award was presented by the Institute of Public Administration during their annual ceremony for the fifteenth Graduate Job fair on Sunday 22 May 2011, in recognition of Samba's efforts in employing the largest number of Institute graduates. Winning this accolade for the fifth time highlights Samba's continued leadership and initiatives to train and employ national professional talent, as well as its tireless efforts in supporting the endeavors of national institutions in human resource development and qualification, to make them eligible for careers in the labor market, spearheaded by the Institute of Public Administration.

Mr. Eisa Al Eisa said "Today, Samba stands as one of the leading institutions implementing strategies that can create and nurture a generation of qualified national professionals capable of leading the Kingdom's various business sectors. We consider this award to be recognition of our exemplary practices in terms of training and employing Saudi youth, and the strides we have made so far on the road to promoting cooperation between the public and private sectors to achieve this vision".

"We highly value the vision and directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier (May Allah Almighty save them) to build a knowledgeable society, particularly since the Royal directives and decisions issued recently aimed at improving the educational and training environment in the Kingdom, as well as expanding the umbrella of job opportunities for Saudi youth. We also value the continued awareness of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, and his constant involvement in events relating to Saudi youth, which is testimony to the deep rooted interest of the Kingdom's wise leadership to make these young people eligible for the workplace" Al Eisa added. The Chairman further extended thanks to Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz for his generous patronage of the ceremony, organized by the Institute of Public Administration, and for presenting the award of "Best National Corporation for Recruiting Saudis in 2011" to Samba. He also applauded the role played by His Royal Highness in the renovation of many tourist sites in the Kingdom, which in turn contribute to the provision and creation of numerous job opportunities for the Kingdom's youth in this vital sector, one of the three largest employment sectors in the country.

Al Eisa pointed to the Bank's deep recognition of the importance of human capital as a sound base for business development and also highlighted the significance of advanced professional performance as a permanent source of success and development. This has prompted the Bank to place the development and employment of nationals as a top priority, stressing Samba's commitment to partnership with the Institute of Public Administration to further build upon these achievements through the adoption of training and development programmes that enhance the academic qualifications of the Saudi youth through professional skills supporting their professional performance.

This award, which Samba has received for the fifth time, embodies its efforts to develop Saudi youth and assist them in obtaining jobs. It also reflects the Bank's steady steps to create job opportunities for the Institute's graduates, to serve the community through the promotion of employment and Saudization programs, as well as human resource development programmes.
