Eisa Al Eisa Received the "2010 Lifetime Achievement Award for Business Sectors in the Middle East"
Mr. Eisa M. Al-Eisa, Chairman of Samba Financial, received yesterday (Sunday) evening a "Lifetime Achievement Award for Business Sectors in Saudi Arabia 2010" from CEO Middle East magazine, in recognition of his leadership of Samba Financial Group and his significant contribution to business in Saudi Arabia. Through his visionary leadership and ability to capture opportunities and identify challenges, Mr. Al Eisa has managed to realize unprecedented achievements on the local and regional arena that have contributed significantly to the development of the Saudi banking and financial sector.
Mr. Al Eisa received the award during a ceremony hosted by ITP Publishing Group at the Intercontinental Hotel in Riyadh, during which a number of the Kingdom's business leaders, who have been nominated by the Arbitration Commission of the ITP Publishing Group, were honored for their distinguished achievements.
Upon receiving the Award, Al-Eisa extended his deep thanks and appreciation to CEO Middle East magazine, labeling it "a leading media institution", and to ITP Executive Publishing Group and its Arbitration Commission, the highly specialized and professional body. "This accolade is a testimony to Samba's leadership position and strong reputation, which has been achieved through a clear, consistent vision and a well-aligned strategy. This "Lifetime Achievement Award" comes in recognition of the achievements and leadership skills that Mr. Al Eisa has demonstrated during his distinguished career with the Group, which has spanned over 30 years. As a result of this accumulated experience, Al Eisa was unanimously elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors at the beginning of 2010, assuming the top of the Group's organizational hierarchy and giving it the confidence and continuity to build on its impressive performance.
During his term as Managing Director and CEO of Samba, Mr Al-Eisa won a number of prestigious awards, including the Euromoney QFC "Lifetime Achievement Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Development of Financial Services in the Middle East". He was also named as "Best CEO in Banking and Financial Institutions Sector in Saudi Arabia" by CEO Middle East magazine; "Best CEO in the Middle East" by emeafinance; "Preferred CEO of the Year" by HR Gathering and Award; and "Middle East's Banking CEO of the Year" in 2007 by the Middle East Excellence Award Institute.
