Samba Wins Award: Best National Institution for Employment, 1427/1428 Al Eisa stresses the bank's continued Saudization efforts
His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh, presented Mr Eisa Al-Eisa, Samba's Managing Director and CEO, with the 1427/1428 Best Employment Award, awarded by the Institute of Public Administration to the national institution that employs the largest number of the Institute's graduates. This award is in appreciation of Samba's efforts in sponsoring the Eleventh Graduate and Job Day, which was organized by the Institute on Sunday 10/5/1428 (27 May 2007), under patronage of the Governor.
This year's award recognizes Samba as the leading Saudi bank in respect of providing employment opportunities for graduates of the Institute. Winning this accolade for the third time, after previous successes in 1422/1423 and 1423/1424, emphasizes Samba's continued efforts to provide suitable jobs for these graduates and provide a service to the community, by encouraging and adopting Saudi employment and human resources development programs.
Mr. Eisa Al-Eisa, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Samba Financial Group, commented that this award demonstrates Samba' firm commitment to attracting Saudi cadres, including the Institute graduates. It also signifies recognition from the highly reputable professional training and research body, the Institute of Public Administration, of Samba's efforts in employing the Institute graduates; demonstrating the strong ties and partnership between the Institute and Samba, with the overall aim of serving the community.
"Samba, through assuming its leading role in the banking sector, will proceed with its strategy to support national talents, provide proper employment opportunities to competent nationals, develop their professional careers in accordance with direction form the relevant authorities, and enable them to contribute to the development of all sectors and areas, based on the crucial role that human resources can play in the comprehensive development throughout the Kingdom", said Al-Eisa.
Samba was the main sponsor of the Eleventh Graduate and Job Day. The company demonstrated a strong presence at the associated show, during which it offered job and training opportunities to the Institute graduates and received applications to join Samba's job and training programs; based on the excellent skills of the graduates and their potential for career development.
