Sambacapital, the investment arm of Samba Financial Group, has been awarded three accolades from Global Finance, a specialist international magazine focused on the financial and banking industry. The three awards are "Best Investment Bank in Saudi Arabia", Best Investment Bank in the Middle East" and "Best Equity Bank in the Middle East" all for 2010.

The awards committee at Global Finance included industry experts and the magazine's editors who all used a select series of criteria to scrutinize companies in the various sectors. The criteria included market share, number and size of deals, service and advice, distribution network, efforts to address market conditions, innovation, pricing, after-market performance of underwritings, market reputation, etc. Sambacapital lead the market in three of the selected areas to win the awards, which will be announced in the magazine's June 2010 edition.

Commenting on the awards, Joseph D. Giarraputo, publisher of Global Finance said "The last 12 months were decidedly mixed for investment banker, but many institutions continue to provide the best possible services to their clients, and we salute them."
