What are Samba e-statements?
Samba e-statements are an electronic version of your banking statements. You can view them on Sambaonline or via a link in the email we will send you at the beginning of each month in a convenient and secure manner anytime, anywhere. Samba e-statements are much more environment friendly as they replace your current paper statements you receive in the mail.

 
Why should I subscribe to Samba e-statements?
Samba e-statements are a replica of the paper statement you are accustomed to and offer the convenience of accessing them instantly need them. They are much faster than physical statements, reduce clutter and take away the bother of filing. You can also download and print them at your convenience.

 
How does the e-statement look?
Samba e-statements look exactly like the paper statements that you receive now.

How much does it cost to receive e-statements?
This service is offered free of charge to all Samba customers.

 
Who can subscribe to e-statement?
All Samba customers with an active banking account.

 
Where can I view my e-statement?
Your e-statement will be available on Sambaonline or can be reached via a link in the email we will send you at the beginning of each month.

 
How often will I receive my e-statement?
Your e-statement will be available on the first day of each month. You will receive an email notifying you when your latest e-statement is available.

 
How do I sign-up for e-statement?
 Login to SambaOnline.
 Click on the green leaf shown near your account number.
 Read and agree to the Terms & Conditions.
 Confirm your subscription.

You can also call SambaPhone or visit your nearest Samba branch to subscribe

 
How do I access my Samba e-statement?
From SambaOnline :

 Login to SambaOnline.
 Click on "e-statement" under the main Accounts tab in the SambaOnline banking services page.
 Select the account for which you want to view the statement.
 Choose the month for which you want to view the statement.
 Click on Submit.
 Enter your National ID / Iqama to open the PDF file.

From Email :

 Click on "View eStatement" button in the email we will send you at the beginning of each month.
 Log in to the page you will land on by entering your national ID/Iqama and the Last four digits of any valid    account you have.
 Enter the Image code and click on submit.
 Enter the one time password we will send to your Mobile number or push the button on your samba security    token device to authenticate your login.
 Select the account for which you want to view the statement.
 Choose the month for which you want to view the statement.
 Click on Download.
 Enter your National ID / Iqama to open the PDF file.


 
Can I access my e-statement from anywhere?
You can access your e-statement from any personal computer with an internet connection and Adobe Acrobat to read PDFs.

 
Is it safe and secure?
Yes, e-statement is a reliable and secure way of receiving your account statement. Your e-statement is protected with a password that only you will know. Furthermore it is stored behind firewalls and is transmitted to your Internet browser using 128-bit encryption.

 
How long will my e-statement be available?
Your e-statement will be available for at least twelve months from the date of issue.

 
Can I cancel the e-statement and revert to paper statement?
Yes, you can cancel receiving the e-statement and revert to paper statement at any time.

To cancel e-statements :

 Login to SambaOnline.
 Click on "e-statement" under the main Accounts tab in the Sambaonline banking services page.
 Click on the Unsubscribe tab.
 Click on Submit.

You can also call SambaPhone or visit your nearest Samba branch to unsubscribe.

 
What should I do if I don't receive an email notifying me that my e-statements are available?
Your e-statements will still be available on Sambaonline. Please check if your email inbox is full and if you have updated us about any change in your email address.

 
What are the system requirements for viewing e-statements?
e-statements are delivered in PDF format. To view, save and print a PDF document you will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader (a free application available at www.adobe.com) on your computer. If you don't have Acrobat Reader and would like to install it now, please visit www.adobe.com

 
Are there other requirements for me to adhere to?
Yes. You will have to read and agree to the Terms & Conditions pertaining to the service.

 
Can I receive a paper statement as well as an e-statement?
No. If you choose to receive e-statements, you will automatically stop receiving paper statements by mail. You can revert to paper statements should you no longer wish to receive e-statements by visiting SambaOnline.

 
How do I update my email address?
 Login to SambaOnline.
 Click on "Profile" at the top right corner of your relationship summary page.
 Click on Modify.
 Update your email address and save the changes.

You can also call SambaPhone or visit your nearest Samba branch to update your email address.

 
Can I have my email notification sent to two different email addresses?
No. You can only define one email address to receive e-statement notifications.

 
Can I view statements dated prior to my registration date?
No. However your first statement will cover the full month you subscribed in. For example, if you subscribe to e-statement at any time in the month of July, your first e-statement on August 1st will cover the full month of July.

 
What is the difference between the account statement I see on Sambaonline currently and an e-statement?
The existing online statement that you have access to on Sambaonline is a summary of the account activities for a given period. However an e-statement is a legally approved alternative for the physical paper statement and can be considered as an official document. It also shows complete details of all your transactions.

 
What should I do if my e-statements are unavailable on either Sambaonline or my email?
Please call sambaPhone on 8001242000 to have it rectified.

 
What should I do if the details on my e-statements are incorrect?
Please call SambaPhone on 8001242000 to report any discrepancy or error in your account before sixty days.
