How can I enroll for SambaOnline?

Follow our simple on-screen instructions to register for SambaOnline.

  • Enter your ATM card number or your Credit Card number.
  • Enter your ATM or Credit Card PIN.
  • Authenticate your registration by entering the registration password that will be sent to your mobile number available in our records (Should you wish to update your mobile number, kindly visit your nearest Samba ATM or branch).
  • Read the SambaOnline agreement and click "I Agree".
  • Choose your SambaOnline username and password.

What do I need to enroll for SambaOnline?

  • A Samba Account or Credit Card.
  • Your Samba ATM Card number or Credit Card number.
  • A mobile number registered with Samba.

What are Samba eStatement?

Samba eStatement is an electronic version of your banking statements. You can view them on SambaOnline or via a link in the email we will send you at the beginning of each month in a convenient and secure manner anytime, anywhere. Samba eStatement are much more environment friendly as they replace your current paper statements you receive in the mail.

Why should I subscribe to Samba eStatement?

Samba eStatement are a replica of the paper statement you are accustomed to and offer the convenience of accessing them instantly when you need them. They are much faster than physical statements, reduce clutter and take away the bother of filing. You can also download and print them at your convenience.

How does the eStatement look?

How much does it cost to receive eStatement?

This service is offered free of charge to all Samba customers.

Who can subscribe to eStatement?

All Samba customers with an active banking account.

Where can I view my eStatement?

Your eStatement will be available on SambaOnline or can be reached via a link in the email we will send you at the beginning of each month.

How often will I receive my eStatement?

Your eStatement will be available on the first day of each month. You will receive an email notifying you when your latest eStatement is available.

How do I sign-up for eStatement?

  • Login to SambaOnline.
  • Click on the green leaf shown near your account number.
  • Read and agree to the Terms & Conditions.
  • Confirm your subscription.

You can also call SambaPhone or visit your nearest Samba branch to subscribe.

How do I access my Samba eStatement?

From SambaOnline:

  • Login to "SambaOnline."
  • Click on "eStatement" under the main Accounts tab in the SambaOnline banking services page.
  • Select the account for which you want to view the eStatement.
  • Choose the month for which you want to view the eStatement.
  • Click on "Submit."
  • Enter your National ID/Iqama to open the PDF file.

From Email:

  • Click on "View eStatement" button in the email we send you at the beginning of each month.
  • Log in to the page by entering your national ID/Iqama and the last four digits of any valid  account you have.
  • Enter the Image code and click on "submit."
  • Enter the one-time password we will send to your mobile number or push the button on your samba security  token device to authenticate your login.
  • Select the account for which you want to view the eStatement.
  • Choose the month for which you want to view the eStatement.
  • Click on "Download."
  • Enter your National ID/Iqama to open the PDF file.

Can I access my eStatement from anywhere?

You can access your eStatement from any personal computer with an internet connection and Adobe Acrobat to read PDFs.

Is it safe and secure?

Yes, eStatement is a reliable and secure way of receiving your account statement. Your eStatement is protected with a password that only you will know. Furthermore it is stored behind firewalls and is transmitted to your Internet browser using 128-bit encryption.

How long will my eStatement be available?

Your eStatement will be available for at least twelve months from the date of issue.

Can I cancel the eStatement and revert to paper statement?

Yes, you can cancel receiving the eStatement and revert to paper statement at any time.

To cancel eStatement:

  • Login to SambaOnline.
  • Click on "eStatement" under the main Accounts tab in the SambaOnline banking services page.
  • Click on the Unsubscribe tab.
  • Select the account for which you want to unsubscribe.
  • Click on "Submit."

You can also call SambaPhone or visit your nearest Samba branch to unsubscribe.

What should I do if I don't receive an email notifying me that my eStatement is available?

Your eStatement will still be available on SambaOnline. Please check if your email inbox is full and if you have updated us about any change in your email address.

What are the system requirements for viewing eStatement?

eStatement is delivered in PDF format. To view, save and print a PDF document you will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader (a free application available at www.adobe.com) on your computer. If you don't have Acrobat Reader and would like to install it now, please visit www.adobe.com.

Are there other requirements for me to adhere to?

Yes. You will have to read and agree to the Terms & Conditions pertaining to the service.

Can I receive a paper statement as well as an eStatement?

No. If you choose to receive eStatement, you will automatically stop receiving paper statements by mail. You can revert to paper statements, you will no longer receive eStatement, by visiting SambaOnline, calling SambaPhone, or visiting any Samba branch.

How do I update my email address?

  • Login to "SambaOnline."
  • Click on "Profile" at the top right corner of your relationship summary page.
  • Click on "Modify."
  • Update your email address and save the changes.

You can also call SambaPhone or visit your nearest Samba branch to update your email address.

Can I have my email notification sent to two different email addresses?

No. You can only define one email address to receive eStatement notifications.

Can I view statements dated prior to my registration date?

No. However your first statement will cover the full month you subscribed in. For example, if you subscribe to eStatement at any time in the month of July, your first eStatement on August 1st will cover the full month of July.

What is the difference between the account statement I see on SambaOnline currently and an eStatement?

The existing online statement that you have access to on SambaOnline is a summary of the account activities for a given period. However, an eStatement is a legally approved alternative for the physical paper statement and can be considered as an official document. It also shows complete details of all your transactions.

What should I do if my eStatement are unavailable on either SambaOnline or my email?

Please call SambaPhone on 8001242000 to have it rectified.

What should I do if the details on my eStatement are incorrect?

Please call SambaPhone on 8001242000 to report any discrepancy or error in your account before sixty days.

What is a Samba Credit Card e-statement?

Samba Credit Card e-statement is an electronic version of your Credit Card statement. You can view it in a convenient and secure manner anytime, anywhere on SambaOnline or through a link in the notification email you will receive every month on your statement date. How to get started?

If you are a SambaOnline user, all you need to do is download the SambaMobile application and log-in using your SambaOnline credentials.

If you are not a SambaOnline user, you can enroll directly from the application by clicking on “New user registration” and following the below instructions:

  • Enter your ATM card number and its PIN. If you don’t have an ATM card, enter your Credit Card number and its PIN.
  • Enter the authentication code which will be sent to your mobile number registered with Samba (Should you wish to update your mobile number, please visit your nearest Samba ATM or branch).
  • Create your user name and password. Choose your preferred language and enter your e-mail address.
  • Read the Terms & Conditions for SambaMobile registration and click I agree.
  • Click on log-in to SambaMobile and provide the username and password you’ve just created in the enrollment process.
  • Enter the authentication code which will be sent to your mobile number registered with Samba.
  • Now you can view your Samba account details and perform your banking transactions in a safe and secure manner.

Will the application work on all mobile phones?

The SambaMobile application is compatible with Smartphones and tablets operating on the following platforms: iOS (Apple), Android, Windows 7.5 & 8 and Blackberry.


Does the mobile device require special settings?

No special settings are required to run the SambaMobile application.


Are there any specific connection requirements to access SambaMobile from mobile devices?

You need to have either a Wi-Fi connection or 3G/4G connection which can be obtained from your phone service provider.


How much memory/space is required for installing the SambaMobile application?

Before downloading the application please check if you have sufficient phone memory available. If not, remove some files or clear cache to create room.


How long does it takes for the mobile application to establish connection?

This is dependent on the Wi-Fi connection or 3G/4G signal.


Can I use the SambaMobile application when I am overseas?

Yes, you can access the SambaMobile application as long as you have a Wi-Fi connection or 3G/4G connection.


Are there any charges for the use of this service?

You only need to pay for the Wi-Fi connection or 3G/4G connection charges from your Telecom company. Please check with your service provider on the charges applicable for GPRS connection.


How do I to authenticate my log-in?

Just log-in to SambaMobile on your mobile device using your username and password. You can then authenticate your log-in using the one-time password that will be sent to your mobile number registered with Samba. For your convenience this password will be sent using flash SMS and will appear on your screen. Please ensure that you have registered a valid mobile phone number with us to receive the one-time password.
You can also use your Samba security-token device should you have one.

I am an e-merchant. How do I enable SambaConnect on my website?

Becoming a SambaConnect e-merchant is so easy.

  • First, open a Samba Financial Group current account (if you do not have one).
  • Sign the SambaConnect agreement form specifying the terms and conditions of the service.
  • Implement the SambaConnect module on your online shop.

I’m an existing Samba customer and Samba.com user. Do I need a new password for SambaConnect? How do I register?

No need to get a new ID or password. Your Samba.com User ID and password will work with SambaConnect. Simply register for SambaConnect services on Samba.com and create an e-wallet containing your preferred payment options. For more details, please call Sambaphone at 800-124-2000.

I’m an existing Samba customer but I am not a registered Samba.com user. How do I register for SambaConnect services?

You must first register for Samba.com services. Registration is easy and can be done here or by visiting Samba.com Once registered on Samba.com, you can then register for SambaConnect services and create your SambaConnect e-wallet. Your new Samba.com User ID and password is all you need to access SambaConnect services.

What is an e-wallet?

When you register for SambaConnect services, you can create your own SambaConnect e-wallet for secure online payments. It’s a virtual wallet containing all the credit cards, bank accounts and SambaConnect account that you wish to pay with online.

What types of payments can I use in SambaConnect?

  • Debit from your Samba current and savings account.
  • Debit from non-Samba current and savings accounts.
  • Samba Visa and MasterCard credit cards.
  • Visa and MasterCard credit cards issued by other banks.

What is a SambaConnect Account?

A SambaConnect Account is an account that you create online for Internet purchases. You can credit money into your SambaConnect account from your real bank account as the need arises.

I am not a Samba customer. Can I use SambaConnect?

I am not a Samba customer, How do I register for SambaConnect services?

To use other bank accounts for SambaConnect payments, you need to establish a direct debit arrangement with your bank. This involves completing a direct debit mandate form, getting approval from your bank and presenting it at any Samba service it at any Samba branch. At the branch, Samba Customer officers will register you for SambaConnect and help you add your non-Samba credit cards into your SambaConnect e-wallet. If I am not a Samba customer, what types of payments can I use in SambaConnect?

  • Direct debit from your non-Samba current/savings account.
  • With your non-Samba Visa or MasterCard credit cards.

What is a sub-profile?

A sub-profile is a user that you have allowed to make online purchases using one or some of the accounts or cards in your SambaConnect e-wallet. You can create a sub-profile for your children, wife or friend. You can set financial limits and specify the allowed payment methods for every sub-profile.

Our company has a Samba corporate account and use SambaAccess. Do we need to register again?

Your company’s existing SambaAccess users can use their existing SambaAccess User ID and password to access SambaConnect. What is a CVV?

This is a security control number used for Internet Visa and MasterCard transactions. It is a three-digit number found on the signature panel on the backside of your credit card.

Why should I register?

When you are a registered SambaConnect user, you can access more services, broaden your payment options and enjoy a more secure online shopping experience.

  • Use any of your bank accounts or credit cards
  • Create a sub-profile allowing other people to have controlled access to your e-wallet (see next item)
  • Use your User ID and password for added protection
  • Create a SambaConnect Account. You can also set spending limits on your SambaConnect Account, beyond which purchases will be automatically declined.
  • Set up spending limits per transaction, allowing you to automatically limit transactions to the maximum amount that you have specified.

Our company is a Samba corporate client. However, we do not use Samba’s electronic banking services. How can we register for SambaConnect?

Our company is not a Samba client. Can we still use SambaConnect for our corporate online purchases?

Yes, you can. You can use direct debit from your non-Samba bank accounts as a payment method. But first, you must register for SambaConnect. To get in touch with the SambaConnect team, click here.

Which web browser do I need to use SambaConnect?

You will need Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher.
