Al-Haqail: Partnership with Samba is a model of constructive cooperation with the private sector

Al Eisa: The agreement is a nucleus to implement Samba community initiative based on targeted objectives

Samba Financial Group and the Ministry of Housing entered into a partnership agreement to implement Samba's Community Initiative to provide free, fully furnished housing units to needy families in the community. The agreement was witnessed by His Excellency Mr. Majed A. Al-Haqail, Minister of Housing and His Excellency Mr. Eisa M. Al Eisa, Chairman of Samba Financial Group. The agreement was signed by H. E. the Advisor and General Supervisor of Development Housing, Mr. Abdullah M. Al Nimri and Mr. Majed Al Saif, General Supervisor of Samba Community Service Programs and attended by senior executives from both sides. According to the agreement, the Ministry of Housing will receive fully furnished housing units ready for immediate housing to distribute them to the most needy families among applicants for the Ministry's programs to obtain adequate housing. The total number of members of the families benefiting from the first batch of units that were handed over to the beneficiaries yesterday reached 400 citizens. This phase will be followed by other phases for preparing and delivery of housing units by Samba Financial Group through timely stages to the Ministry of Housing to distribute them to needy families in different regions of the Kingdom. These units will help beneficiaries to obtain decent housing that provides them with stability and safety of living.

H.E. the Minister of Housing welcomed the partnership with Samba Financial Group for the implementation of this pioneering community initiative. "This initiative reflects the spirit of deep national belonging and the active community role adopted by Samba Group in its commitment to social responsibility and the aspirations of our wise leadership to provide decent life for the people of Saudi Arabia" the Minister said. He also stressed the Ministry's keenness to take all measures to ensure the distribution of residential units within a transparent methodology that takes into account the families most in need of these units, and according to a fast time delivery schedule. His Excellency expressed the Ministry of Housing's pride in this partnership, which is exemplary to the constructive cooperation with the private sector. "Samba’s initiative is a real and serious work towards achieving the goals of 2030 Vision which targets the community. This role is not surprising from the leading Samba Group in all fields" the Minister was quoted as saying. He also addressed his thanks and appreciation to Mr. Al Eisa and all staff working on this initiative.

For his part, Al Eisa appreciated the Ministry of Housing's interaction with this initiative. "This agreement is only a nucleus for the implementation of the Samba’s community Initiative in accordance with the desired standards and aspirations" Al Eisa said. He expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Minister of Housing for his support of this initiative and his effective response to cooperate in implementing it. Al Eisa pointed out that signing this agreement in these blessed days of the holy month of Ramadan gives added value to the concepts of social solidarity. "The Ministry of Housing's participation as a partner in implementing this initiative reflects the integrated efforts to achieve the common vision of Samba Group and the Ministry under directives of the Kingdom’s wise leadership to satisfy the needs of citizens" Al Eisa added.
